The body of a nanny who was on duty in a New York City hotel swimming pool when she died last month is still missing, but police have yet to release a cause of death.
The New York Police Department released a statement on Thursday saying the body of 28-year-old Shauna O’Neill was found in a pool on Saturday.
The police department did not say how long she had been in the pool.
O’Neil, a resident of the upscale Brooklyn borough of Brooklyn, was last seen by friends on Sunday morning when she was working at the Marriott Marquis in Westfield, Queens.
She was last spotted leaving the pool in a white tank top and white shorts.
O”Neill’s body was discovered in a swimming pool in Westfields, Queens, on Saturday evening,” the police department said in a statement.
“The investigation is continuing and the cause and manner of death will be released when it is determined.
